KSA and Kuwait another step closer to implementation
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has published the text of the Value Add Tax (VAT) and Excise Treaties agreed between the GCC countries. The treaties are available on the following links: VAT Treaty and Excise Tax Treaty.
In addition, the KSA’s General Authority of Zakat and Tax published its user manual for those required to register for Excise tax. It is available here: KSA Registration User Manual.
Separately, the Kuwait Ministry of Finance has published its draft law on Excise Tax which can be reviewed here.
