Deloitte opens Cyber Intelligence Center

Deloitte has announced today the opening of a Cyber Intelligence Center, which will offer support and services for 18 countries in the CEE region, including Romania.

The new center comes on the background of more and more complex cyber threats, in a growing cyber culture evolving more rapidly than cyber security. The Cyber Intelligence Center is located in Hungary and assists clients in all industries, with a focus on the financial services industry, which is more exposed to risks nowadays.

The new Cyber Intelligence Center is being announced during the Deloitte Community of Practice 2017 meeting that is taking place in Bucharest between 30 August – 1 September, which brings together around 100 practitioners from the EMEA Deloitte member firms.

“Romania has always been able to provide highly skilled cyber experts who have gained international recognition, and I am extremely pleased that our office is a core member of this community,” said Andrei Ionescu, Risk Advisory Partner Deloitte Romania, who leads the local cyber security practice. “Deloitte is a firm traditionally known for its audit and financial services that has constantly reinvented itself to be ready to assist clients for tomorrow’s challenges. For more than 20 years, our firm has been investing continuously in the area of cyber risk, which led to its ranking as number 1 in consecutive years by independent international analysts such as Forrester or Gartner. Our global, regional and local cyber security practice reflects these efforts, so that our clients benefit from a solid reputation, technical expertise and professionalism.”

The global network of Cyber Intelligence Centers, counting over 50,000 international professionals, is operating around the clock 365 days of the year and provides fully customizable managed security solutions including advanced security event monitoring, threat analytics, cyber threat management, and incident response for businesses in the region to meet the increasing market demand in cybersecurity services.

The service portfolio includes ten lines of services, from cyber threat prevention and detection, to cyber-attack reaction and incident response management

The Cyber Intelligence Center services are supported by an organizational structure with three expertise levels to guarantee our clients’ security in a 24/7 environment. Deloitte Cyber Intelligence Center also trains its clients through the Cyber Academy Platform offering cybersecurity-specific training. Their knowledge relies on the expertise and extensive experience acquired by our professionals in their daily working lives.
