CBAM - The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism moves to the next phase in its implementation timeline

The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is entering the next phase of its implementation timeline, where importers are required to report actual carbon dioxide emissions. Failure to report or submitting inaccurate CBAM reports may result in penalties, and the Ministry of Finance has already started sending notifications to inform importers of their obligation to comply with the CBAM Regulation. Therefore, gaining a deeper understanding of the CBAM's implications is becoming essential for goods importers.
