Sorin Elisei

Director
Sorin Elisei is a director within Deloitte Romania's risk advisory team and leader of the energy and sustainability practices. With over 18 years of experience in the energy sector, he has coordinated national and international projects in the energy and climate change areas, as well as studies, analyses, projects and strategies in this field. Its expertise covers areas such as defining and implementing decarbonisation plans, defining energy transition strategies and integrating ESG (environmental, social, governance) factors in business development plans.
Among other things, he was the project manager on behalf of Deloitte for the elaboration of the National Integrated Energy and Climate Change Plan (PNIESC) for Romania and Bulgaria, the document that sets out the energy policy of these countries for the period 2021-2030. Since 2020, he has been vice-chair of the AmCham Energy Committee.
Sorin Elisei is a graduate in Executive Management from the London School of Business and Finance and courses in energy trading and understanding EFET agreements at the European Federation of Energy Traders in London. Sorin is also a certified expert in sustainability and energy efficiency.
