In Republic of Srpska, Deloitte operates as Deloitte d.о.о. Banjaluka which is affiliate of Deloitte Central Europe Holdings Limited. Deloitte Central Europe Holdings Limited is a member of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited ("DTTL"), a UK private company limeted by guarantee.

It was more than sixteen years ago that Deloitte & Touche established an office in Republic of Srpska. As the first among the "big six" at the time, it provided world-renowned audit and consulting services in compliance with international standards.

Important dates

1991. After a thorough process of selecting a strategic partner, the Economics Institute of Belgrade, a prominent research institution, decided to enter into a joint venture with the company Deloitte & Touche.

1991-1997. Deloitte & Touche, as the pioneer and founder of the financial services market in Serbia, developed audit and consulting. Committed work in adverse market conditions resulted in many long-standing clients.

1997. Early in the year, the company Deloitte & Touche Central Europe (DTCE) was established. In recognition of exceptional efforts and success achieved to date, the memorandum of association was signed in Belgrade, although the company management operates from Prague.

1998. Deloitte & Touche opened a representative office in Podgorica.

1999. After four years of active work in the territory of the Republic of Srpska, DTCE opened an office in Banja Luka.

2000. As other audit and consulting companies entered the Serbian market, Deloitte & Touche remained the leading professional services company in the region.

2004. The Deloitte office in Skoplje, established in 1994, became integrated into the company in Belgrade, Montenegro and the Republic of Srpska.

2010. Deloitte became the world's leading professional services company.

2014. Deloitte was named Central European Tax Firm of the year 2014 at the International Tax Review’s 10^th annual European Tax Awards held in London.
