Deloitte Germany acquires Licetus

New York, NY, 3 February 2015 – Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited today announced that Licetus, a leading provider of software asset management (SAM) services in Europe, was acquired by Deloitte Germany on 1 January 2015. This acquisition has expanded the Deloitte network’s software asset management capabilities.

Today, Licetus is already implementing SAM strategy, large-scale SAM projects and process design, along with other SAM services at major international enterprises. The company also educates future experts for software asset management at its European SAM Academy. The combination of Deloitte, as an established SAM specialist, and Licetus will further expand the Deloitte network’s market leadership position in this area.

Although the Licetus deal originated through Deloitte Germany, the services and personnel acquired will be made available to Deloitte clients all over the world through the Deloitte network of member firms.
