David Owen

Chairman of the Board, Deloitte CIS 

David started his career in industry in the UK before joining Deloitte South Africa in the late 1980s. He became a consulting partner in 1990. After returning to the UK in 1994, David had a number of roles in the UK consulting practice before being appointed its leader in 2000. From 2011 to the end of 2014, David was seconded to Moscow as the CEO of Deloitte CIS. Throughout his Deloitte career, David has worked with many of the firm’s biggest clients.

Having retired as a partner, David now represents Deloitte UK on both the Deloitte CIS Board of Directors and its SPV Supervisory Board.

Ian Colebourne

Chief Executive Officer, Deloitte CIS 

Ian Colebourne is the CEO of Deloitte CIS. Prior to this he led the firm's Financial Advisory practice. Ian started his career in Forensic and has over 20 years of experience participating in and leading investigations, corporate intelligence engagements and fraud risk management assignments. Before taking charge of the Financial Advisory department at Deloitte in 2012, he established the Forensic practice at another Big Four firm and led its Risk Consulting business. Ian is a qualified solicitor. Outside work, Ian enjoys spending time with his four children.

Alexander Dorofeyev

Partner, Audit, CIS

Alexander joined Deloitte in 1994 and, in addition to Moscow, has worked in the Detroit and London offices. He holds an MSc and an MBA, is a Russian Certified Auditor, and an ACCA member. He focuses on the consumer products, retail, and services sectors and is an IFRS audit and corporate governance expert with particular experience in IPO listings and Eurobond placements. Alexander chairs the Audit Committee. He is married with three daughters.

Olga Tabakova

Partner, Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Leader, CIS

Olga joined Deloitte in 1995, becoming a partner in the Audit department in 2004. She has led the Deloitte CIS Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice since 2007. She specialises in delivering Audit & Assurance, transformation to IFRS/US GAAP, IFRS first time adoption, due diligence, internal controls and IPO-related services.

Olga serves on the Deloitte CIS Board of Directors. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and is a CPA (Oregon, USA). Olga enjoys travel and art and is a keen bonsai gardener.

Nuran Kerimov

Managing Partner, Deloitte in Azerbaijan

Nuran joined Deloitte in 2003, establishing the firm’s Tax practice in Azerbaijan. He has significant experience in advising Azerbaijani and international companies, mainly in the FSI and Oil & Gas sectors, on tax and associated issues. 

Nuran is a member of the Deloitte CIS Board of Directors.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Voronezh State University and a master of laws degree from the University of Georgia (USA). Nuran is a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan. He is married with three children.

Rik Vanpeteghem

Regional Managing Director, EMEA

Rik Vanpeteghem has been the chief executive officer and managing partner of Deloitte Belgium since June 2008. His career at Deloitte Belgium began in 1985; he has since worked directly with many large clients and was named one of Belgium’s top tax advisers several times by the International Tax Review’s World Tax surveys. Prior to becoming CEO, he was the managing partner of the Tax & Legal practice (2004-2008). Vanpeteghem has degrees in law and business management from the University of Leuven and a degree in tax law from the University of Brussels. He is originally from Kortrijk in West Flanders, Belgium where he lives with his wife and their three children. His native language is Flemish (Dutch) and he is fluent in both French and English.
