Creating a Sustainable Development Agenda

Deloitte CIS will be attending the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) as a Business Programme Partner for the 12th consecutive year. The forum will take place from 6-8 June at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg, with the theme “Creating a Sustainable Development Agenda”.

SPIEF is an outstanding platform for strengthening and developing relationships with existing and target Deloitte clients in the CIS, and maintaining a dialogue with the Russian and international business communities on important socio-economic issues. The meetings and conversations that take place during the forum often result in solid business opportunities.

This year, the CEO of Deloitte CIS, Ian Colebourne, will lead our delegation, which is made up of Chief Economist at Deloitte China, Xu Sitao; Risk Advisory Partner and Deputy Leader of Deloitte Insights in the CIS, Ekaterina Trofimova; CIS Government Relations Leader, Gennady Kamyshnikov; Head of Sustainability Services, Ivan Kukhnin; Consulting Partners, Anastasia Osipova and Igor Lyapin; CIS Audit & Assurance Managing Partner, Igor Tokarev; Director of the Supply Chain Management Department, Alexander Oleynik and Consulting Manager, Anastasia Morgunova.

Our partners and international guests will participate in the panel discussions focused on finding business solutions to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and drive the Russian economy forward, as well as discussing global economic issues, corporate health programs, ways of reducing middle class concerns, and proactive migration policies aimed at development and attracting investment.

Every year, SPIEF attracts the leading decision makers of emerging markets to identify and discuss the key challenges that Russia, emerging markets, and the world are currently facing.  Over the past decade, the forum has become a leading global platform for business.
