Deloitte and Inventor Soft announce partnership
15 October 2018, Moscow—Deloitte CIS and Inventor Soft have announced a joint project to automate processes for forecasting and allocating subscriber equipment for one of Russia’s major telecom companies. The project will be based on Inventor System, a local software solution.
As part of the project, Deloitte is responsible for project management, methodological support for software implementation, IT system user training and change management related to in-scope retail processes.
The project aims to deliver a streamlined subscriber equipment forecast and allocation system to fulfil the Client’s needs for accurate forecasts and optimised target indicators for stock in order to ensure strong stock availability across points of sale.
The project is driven by the requirements to:
1) Streamline day-to-day demand forecasts for thousands of stock items within the extended retail network consisting of several thousand points of sale;
2) Support regular calculations of optimal stock levels, as well as the preparation of purchase and retail stock replenishment orders.
The project will also tailor the solution to fully fit the specific needs of the Client.
“Our technology partnership with Inventor Soft has broadened our opportunities to provide our clients with customised automation solutions for retail business planning,” stated Andrey Semenov, Senior Manager, Supply Chain Services, Deloitte CIS. “Inventor System is a locally developed software platform designed to provide dynamic demand forecasting and stock allocation based on financial indicators. The platform brings in flexibility to specifically cater to retail chains with multiple points of sale and extensive offerings.”
