Promotion of business integrity through corporate governance

Series of seminars organised by the OECD in collaboration with Deloitte

The seminars are an initiative of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) carried out in partnership with Deloitte CIS, thanks to the support of the Siemens Integrity Initiative. They provide a forum for discussion and sharing of OECD and international expertise on issues relating to business integrity, with a special focus on the local situation and challenges in Russia.

Each session is supported by tailored OECD research and other material relevant to the topic area. The seminars are conducted by specialist speakers from the OECD, the international community and Russia, as well as corporate representatives (Russian and foreign).

Second session

Risk management and business integrity

10 October 2016

9:30 – 13:00

Lotte Hotel, 8 Novinskiy Boulevard, building 2, Moscow

Failures in managing risks of corporate misconduct can lead to grave financial and environmental consequences for the company. Appropriate and effective risk management integrated in a company’s governance frameworks is essential in ensuring its long-term stability and growth.

The seminar will focus on effective ways to manage integrity risks within corporations with case examples from different jurisdictions. During the session, insights will be discussed on the good practices and challenges in risk management in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as the current tendencies in the field in Russia. Moreover, the discussions will offer an opportunity for an exchange on the concrete practices in corporations.
