Tamara is a Tax Partner leading Deloitte Russia Indirect Tax team of 20 experts. Tamara has over 15 years of experience in advising a broad range of Russian and multinational businesses on complexities of Indirect tax matters arising from local and global operations.
Tamara provides numerous clients with advisory assistance on a variety of operational issues, as well as working with them on interpretation of legislative amendments affecting the clients businesses. Tamara is also an expert in development of VAT strategies on acceleration of VAT refunds and policies on maintaining separate VAT accounting. She has an extensive experience in tax audits and reviews and advises clients on VAT and customs implications arising upon business model restructurings and mergers and acquisitions.
Tamara also focuses on customs consulting services, including advisory support in structuring of foreign economic operations; customs value determination and customs classification, as well as provides support in resolving disputes with the customs authorities.
Tamara is a regular speaker at internal and external seminars, conferences and webinars on VAT topics and regularly consults clients on legislative initiatives regarding VAT provisions.
Tamara graduated from the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics, and Informatics with a degree in Mathematical Methods in Economics.
