Deloitte’s view

The MHRSD's announcement of Saudization for new professions is a positive step towards increasing employment opportunities for Saudi nationals and strengthening the country's workforce.

By expanding the scope of Saudization, the MHRSD is demonstrating its commitment to promoting the employment of local talent in critical fields. The announcement includes specific job titles in each category and sets a Saudization percentage linked to the number of employees in the company.

This provides companies with a clear roadmap for meeting Saudization targets and enables them to plan their workforce strategy accordingly. The gradual, controlled approach suggested by the announcement ensures that Saudization targets are met in a measured and effective manner.

Ultimately, this supports the growth and development of the business sector in the country.
