Chua Kong Ping

Kong Ping is a Partner with Deloitte Singapore and has substantial experience in Singapore and international tax consultancy, the latter involved advising on corporate restructuring, supply chain, cross-border payments, permanent establishment issues as well as tax and reporting implications arising from the implementation of Pillar 2.

Kong Ping was seconded to Deloitte’s New York office for two years where he advised US MNCs on their outbound transactions into Singapore. 

In relation to tax technical development Kong Ping leads a team that is responsible for, amongst others, keeping Deloitte’s tax practitioners as well as its clients abreast of tax updates in Singapore and abroad. He speaks regularly on a variety of tax topics and teaches at the Tax Academy of Singapore. Kong Ping also regularly opines on topical tax issues for a variety of publications and periodicals.

Kong Ping is an Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals and is also a member of its Tax & Levies Committee.
