Call for Entries for 2013 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Competition in Central Europe

Bratislava, 22 May 2013 — Today Deloitte opens registration for the 2013 edition of the Technology Fast 50, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in Central Europe. This is the 14th consecutive year that Deloitte have run this programme in the countries of Central Europe (consisting of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia).

The Central Europe Technology Fast 50 ranks the fastest-growing technology companies based on their revenue growth over a five-year period. For the 2013 ranking, revenues from 2008 to 2012 will be analysed. The competition is divided into three categories Fast 50,
Rising Stars and Big 5 category.

Romanian Internet airline ticket retailer Vola.rohas placed first in Deloitte's 2012 Central Europe Technology Fast 50 for the second year in a row with a revenue growth rate of 17,323% over the past five years. This was the second-highest growth rate in the history of the Central European programme, and the fastest five-year growth observed since 2005.

Last year's Rising Stars were topped by Polish software company Netwise S.A. with a three-year revenue growth rate of 643%.

In the Big 5 categoryInternet Shop s.r.o., the Czech Internet perfume retailer and 2011's third-fastest growing company, was the fastest-growing company with 2011 revenues of over €25 million, and managed to remain in the Fast 50 main category in the seventh position.

Technology Fast 50 winners in 2012 posted average revenue growth of 1026%, a decrease on the 1068% average growth in 2011.

Online registration and eligibility criteria can be found on the regional Technology Fast 50 website at www.deloitte.com/fast50ce. Eligible registrants will be entered automatically into the Europe-wide competition known as the Deloitte EMEA Technology Fast 500.

Registration for this year’s ranking will close on 15 July 2013. The ranking will be announced inOctober 2013.
