The goal is to provide you with European residential market data on a regular basis. How do Europeans live, and for how much? This issue focuses especially on housing specifics and the prices of own housing in selected countries in Europe. 

The prices in the selected countries and their major cities differ significantly as a result of historical development and various factors affecting the volume of supply and demand. The main factors are particularly:

  • Intensity of residential development
  • Ownership structure of the housing stock; and
  • Standard size of the dwelling

The Property Index was prepared by a proven international and cross-functional team of Deloitte professionals in the development, mortgage and real estate markets.
