In October 2021, Deloitte Thailand conducted a survey and published a report assessing organisational preparedness for complying with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). In 2024, two years after the PDPA's enforcement in June 2022, another survey was done to evaluate how companies have adapted and analysed the challenges they face, and studied changes in internal processes.
On 6 August, Deloitte Thailand subject matter experts Dr. Narain Chutijirawong, Sutthika Ruchupan and Monal Supanit led a webinar titled “2024 PDPA post-implementation survey webinar: Benefits beyond compliance” to share the survey results focusing on PDPA benefits, business awareness and readiness, and how organisations can remain at the forefront of PDPA compliance.
