IPO Newsletter Issue 3/2023

We are delighted to share with you the fifth issue of our IPO readiness newsletter, where we will provide the latest IPO insights and data, key capital market developments, and highlights of initiatives adopted by respective stock markets.

The market is continuing to show signs of recovery, with the Thai IPO market in 2023 expecting to outperform 2022. In 2022, there were a total of 163 IPOs across Southeast Asia, increasing by 7% from 2021; however, the value of fund raising decreased by 43% which is indicative of a higher number of smaller listings in 2022.

Many companies are showing a greater interest in listing in the stock exchange. The benefits of listing for an organisation have become increasingly clearer, including access to long-term financing, creating a credible image for the company, professional financial management, long term resilience as well as opening new opportunities for the future.
We hope that you will find this newsletter an insightful read, and we look forward to connecting and discussing some of these issues in greater detail with you. In the meantime, please reach out to us should you have any questions.
