The Luke Batty Foundation (LBF) was formed in 2015 after 11-year-old Luke Batty was murdered by his father at a local cricket ground in 2014. The foundation, set up by Luke’s mother Rosie, is dedicated to campaigning for an end to violence against women and children.
An Australian Bureau of Statistics personal safety study shows that one in three Australian women experience physical violence in their lifetime, one in four of them from a partner or ex-partner.
The Luke Batty Foundation’s CEO, Rosie Batty, said: “A website is a really important window into your organisation. Benefiting from Deloitte’s expertise to create our new online presence has been an incredible gift.”
LBF’s new website gives the organisation more control over its content as well as greater insights into clients and supporters.
The LBF project’s lead Deloitte partner, Bambi Damty said: “Starting as an Impact Day session in 2016, the LBF website was a long but rewarding journey for all involved. I have personally been struck by the willingness and generosity of all those volunteering to help out.”
