Deloitte Turkey was founded in 1986 and operating today in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana and Bursa and provides audit, tax, corporate finance, consulting and enterprise risk services.

Deloitte Turkey History
1978 Protek Proje Araştırma ve Danışmanlık A.Ş, located at Tunus Street in Ankara, was established by Levent Yaveroğlu, Güner Gücük and Ceyhun Güner.
1986 Protek - Deloitte Haskins & Sells Denetim ve Danışmanlık A.Ş., located at Cinnah Street in Ankara, was established by Levent Yaveroğlu, Derya Özalp, Güner Gücük and Ceyhan Güner with the partnership of Deloitte Haskins & Sells.
1987 Deloitte Turkey was established.
1987 Deloitte Turkey became the first international company certified with independent audit by the Turkish Treasury.
1988 Istanbul office was established.
1988 Izmir office was established and continued its operations until 1994.
1989 Deloitte Turkey participated in the Global Development Program by joining in the Secondment Programme for the London office.
1989 Deloitte Haskins & Sells’ interest in Protek - Deloitte Haskins & Sells Denetim ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. was acquired by the Turkish partners and the company’s title was registered as DRT Denetim Revizyon Tasdik YMM A.Ş..
1989 Deloitte Turkey Consulting function was established under Deloitte ve Touche Danışmanlık Hizmetleri A.Ş.with the partnership of Deloitte Haskins & Sells and the Turkish partners.
1993 Following the assessment made as a result of the discussions on the effect of the Global merger over the Turkish firm, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu concluded DRT Denetim Revizyon Tasdik YMM A.Ş. to be the only member firm in Turkey.
1995 The headquarter was relocated from Ankara to İstanbul.
1996 Hüseyin Gürer and Uğur Süel, who started their careers as professionals, entitled with the first partnership in the firm.
1999 Alignment agreement was signed with Deloitte Global.
2000 The highest revenue growth was achieved with 42 %.
2003 Deloitte Turkey was assigned as the integrated firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
2004 Structuring of operational and support functions were completed. Finance, Clients & Markets and Human Resources functions were established by the support of professional leaders.
2005 Ankara office was relocated to its new office in Armada.
2006 The central office in İstanbul was relocated to its new office building, Sun Plaza.
2006 Focusing on industry expertise, the organizational structure was divided into service segments based on industries.
2007 Deloitte Education Foundation (DEVAK) was established with the aim of cultivating people that will add value to Turkey and the Turkish business world in accordance with the Deloitte Turkey’s corporate social responsibility. Deloitte Academy was established as an affiliate of DEVAK to work in collaboration with entities in the area of education and training and consultancy and to support individuals in developing their careers.
2007 Deloitte Turkey became stronger with both the merger and participation of new partners to the tax consultancy services.
2007 Hüseyin Gürer, Deloitte Turkey’s new Managing Partner was succeeded by Levent Yaveroğlu, Deloitte Turkey’s former Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board.
2007 Deloitte Turkey ranked as number 1 with a 43% of revenue growth.
2008 With its 46% of revenue growth, Deloitte Turkey increased its share among Deloitte’s global revenue which amounts to 23 billion dollars.
2009 İzmir office was re-established.
2010 Deloitte Turkey achieved the highest rank among the Big 4 as indicated in the list of “Turkey’s Top Companies in 2010”.
2010 Deloitte Turkey was awarded as Turkey’s #1 professional service provider.
2011 Deloitte celebrated its 25th year anniversary in Turkey.
2012 Bursa office was established.
2013 Çukurova office was established in Adana.
