When, where, and how we work

As we look towards the future of work, we recognize that the nature of work, the workforce, and workplace have fundamentally shifted. Deloitte professionals want a variety of options in the way they work that allow for personal choice, flexibility, and predictability.

Starting January 2022, most professionals will operate in a hybrid workplace model that optimizes a combination of virtual and in-person interactions. We will be intentional about when we co-locate with each other and our clients for maximum impact, while empowering our people to preserve the flexibility that they desire.

Not only will this new hybrid model benefit our people, but also the environment. By reducing travel and commuting time, this reduction in our carbon footprint will help propel our global commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.

Vaccine requirements

The health, safety, and well-being of our people, clients and communities is always our top priority. The science and data are compelling that vaccinations are currently the most effective means of reducing the spread of COVID-19 and substantially reducing the likelihood of serious illness.

Accordingly, we have implemented a vaccine requirement for our people to access all our Deloitte US India office facilities effective December 6, 2021. We recognize that everyone’s circumstances are different, and we will provide virtual options that enable effective participation wherever feasible. Additionally, we will periodically review our requirement as the pandemic evolves and make any appropriate adjustments.
