Accelerating from Graduate to Assistant Manager in Forensic Technology

Shaun Killingbeck joined our graduate scheme in 2013, which gave him the opportunity to work abroad, and exposed him to lots of development. Since joining he’s accelerated his skills, and learned everything he needs to know to excel in his role in Forensic Technology.

  1. When did you join Deloitte, and what is your role?
I joined Deloitte as a graduate in September 2013, I am now an Assistant Manager in the Forensic Technology Development Team based in St. Albans.
  2. How has your career developed since joining Deloitte?
My first two years were spent on the Forensic Technology graduate training scheme in London during which I worked in both E-Discovery and Data Analytics on a range of client projects including 9 months abroad in Denmark. On completion of the training scheme, I spent another year in Data Analytics before moving to the St. Albans office to join the new Development Team at the start of 2017.

  3. What skills have you developed through your day to day role?
The graduate scheme gave me exposure to many development opportunities. To name a few, it accelerated my technical skills in programming and scripting, taught me the Forensic processes and practices from data collection through to review, as well as communication skills by building client relationships on multiple projects.
