Communications planning for Modern Muse
Inspiring the next generation of female business leaders and entrepreneurs
Modern Muse is a social enterprise designed to inspire and engage the next generation of female business leaders and entrepreneurs. This year, Deloitte has helped to launch Modern Muse and its online platform to corporates, ‘muses’ and schools as part of our Social Innovation Pioneers programme.
Working with Deloitte, Modern Muse identified two key areas in which it needed support: risk assessment activity, and the marketing and launch of its new mobile-enhanced website.
Deloitte carried out a thorough risk assessment for the launch of the new Modern Muse website, providing advice on disclosures, data protection and user protection requirements and developing a strategy to help Modern Muse meet ongoing requirements after the launch.
We also helped Modern Muse develop a marketing strategy for the launch, creating marketing materials to support the company’s initial conversations with over 100 corporates. More than 60 employees from these organisations have now registered as a ‘muse’.
We developed and implemented a social media strategy for the launch and created promotional videos to help outline why the initiative is so crucial. And we organised a pilot of the website within Deloitte, encouraging our own people to create profiles that help inspire and educate young women about the opportunities available to them within business.
