Finance for the Future Awards 2015

Making an impact on businesses and society alike

Deloitte makes an impact that matters. We challenge ourselves every day to do what matters most – for our clients, our people and society. This sense of purpose has spanned our 160-year history.

To build on our longstanding business ethos, we are proud to sponsor the Finance for the Future Awards 2015. ICAEW and The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability Project (A4S) founded the awards to recognise financial leadership in developing successful business models that produce not only financial returns, but also environmental and social benefits. The awards’ key ambition is to share best practice as well as develop a community of thought leaders and recognised experts in this field.

We believe that ‘sustainability’ should be viewed in its broadest sense. A sustainable and resilient business model is key to remaining competitive and delivering long-term shareholder value. We consider that the finance team, with its holistic view of the business, its focus on performance, risk mitigation and market growth, and its understanding of the financial impact of decisions, is pivotal to embedding sustainability in business operations and decisions.

By harnessing the power of technology and greater understanding of the changing landscape, our people are responding to the challenges our clients and wider society face. From the humble beginning, our values of quality and integrity have never wavered. We seek to drive higher standards of governance through our audit and tax practices. It is through all this and more that we support our clients’ success and foster sustainable economic growth and a more prosperous society.
