Life at Deloitte
Student opportunities in Deloitte Real Estate
There are more than 500 surveyors across the firm working on a wide range of challenging projects in many aspects of general practice. Our core teams are development, compulsory purchase, valuation, rating and consultancy.
What are we offering?
We offer first class training with a rotation programme between three different teams to prepare you for your APC. We also have an unrivalled structured training programme to help you pass your APC first time, as well as to develop important wider business skills that you will need in Deloitte.
You are also likely to be involved in more specialist areas where we are market leaders – such as sport and leisure, airports, sustainability, culture and heritage and development land, amongst others.

Key projects and clients
We led the valuation of Dubai’s two airports: Dubai International Airport which handles more than 50 million passengers a year and the new Al Maktoum International Airport which covers more than 140 sq km of land. We worked with colleagues from both our Middle East and Indian member firms.
New Covent Garden Market
We led the consultation team to deliver a new planning consent for the development of a 3m sq ft mixed-use scheme at New Covent Garden. We provided development consultancy advice on the commercial concept for the proposed scheme and negotiated the related s.106 agreement with Wandsworth. We then closed the deal with VINCI St Modwen in one of London’s largest development transactions this year.
Who we look for
To succeed with us, you’ll need a genuine interest in the property industry. We’ve built a reputation for the quality of our work to which we’ll expect you to contribute, so it’s essential that you share our passion and commitment.
Everybody here genuinely enjoys what they do, and often they bring different interests from outside of work. That diversity is part of what makes our culture unique. You’ll also need to be driven. There’s a sense of ownership in this team, and we’re looking for people who are as motivated by that as we are.
