Assurance Analytics: We help our clients with three main activities – data, models and analytics, giving assurance over what they’ve produced, or helping to improve them. The breadth of our work spans across industries including Banking and Capital Markets, Investment Management, Private Equity, Insurance, Public Sector, Retail, and Oil and Gas.

IT Specialists - Audit: We work across all parts of the audit business to assess the risk around IT systems that generate financially relevant information. You’ll learn how IT supports business objectives and key processes. Our purpose is to serve the public interest and help give confidence that the financial information going out to stakeholders (e.g. shareholders, employees, regulators etc.) is correct. As part of your graduate opportunity, you will have the option to study towards a MSc qualification in Digital and Business Risk Management. Other relevant qualifications are also offered including the ACA (chartered accountancy) or CISA during your career with us.

IT Specialists - Assurance: We work on a variety of projects with some great clients – focussing on IT assurance. All of the core skills you develop through IT Audit will stand you in good stead for this broader IT assurance work. As part of your graduate opportunity, you will have the option to study towards a MSc qualification in Digital and Business Risk Management. Cardiff Delivery Centre: Our Delivery Centre supports our client facing colleagues, so that we can continue to deliver exceptional services both regionally, nationally and across the globe. Our team is made up of product owners, software engineers and testers that live and breathe product development, delivery and support. The team is responsible for developing new solutions as well as maintaining one or more of the established solutions that support thousands of service line users within the business, such as Tax and Audit.

As a software engineer, you’ll be working with the team to understand requirements and develop solutions, participate in team ceremonies, write code and explore solutions to technical challenges. You will have access to a wide range of learning materials to help you grow your knowledge of software engineering methodologies and best practises.

Technology & Digital Services: The Technology and Digital Services (TDS) team is at the centre of managing technology platforms, tools and services for Deloitte. Acting as a trusted partner with our internal colleagues, we provide strategic advice for all technology needs, enabling collaborative, secure and agile ways of working in the UK. From managing our IT infrastructure, improving cyber security to developing innovative digital platforms, our approach is to co-create solutions with our colleagues to unlock the benefits technology can bring to the firm.

Data & AI Analyst: As a Data & AI Analyst, you’ll design and execute data-driven programmes that transform our clients’ businesses. Whether you’re part of Deloitte Digital or our Strategy, Analytics and M&A business, you’ll be working with some of the most innovative technologies around.

Design Analyst: This career path is all about crafting human-centred experiences. You’ll help solve our clients’ problems with intuitive, engaging digital products and services. And you’ll work alongside other talented designers to build our internal Experience Design (XD) practice. There are both technical and client-facing non-technical career paths available within the team, and no prior coding experience is required. You also don’t need to be an expert on data on day one; we will work with you to develop and grow your skills. You will have the flexibility to learn and engage in your own interests, ranging from certification with a cloud provider to becoming a data visualisation expert or managing your own project.

Extended Enterprise: We help clients evaluate and manage the risks associated with their vital third-party relationships. From customers and suppliers to distributors, licensees and franchises, we deliver solutions that help to maintain brand integrity and maximise performance. The success of third-party relationships is critical to our clients. Our Extended Enterprise professionals help maximise the benefits gained from the relationships our clients have with various business partners.

We’ve already developed unique in-house tools to automate our analytics, and we’re continuously working with exciting technology companies on contract discovery technology to automate entire lifecycle processes. Robotics and Intelligent Automation (Deloitte Managed Solutions) : This team specialises in applying pioneering technology, such as Robotic and Intelligent Automation (R&IA) and Artificial Intelligence, advising clients on their automation strategy, alongside designing, building and running robotics solutions on their behalf. What makes us different? The scale and size of our engagements (some of our projects have teams of over 500 people), and the constant harnessing of innovative technology and working methods, to refine and enhance our client propositions.

Technology Digital Risk: We help organisations take advantage of the benefits of new digital technology and better manage their legacy technology through risk intelligent solutions, assurance, advisory and managed services.

• Digital Controls: We provide confidence to enterprises in their processes and technologies that underpin their critical operations. We advise, implement, operate and assure the technology systems, tools, infrastructure and third-party service providers which comprise the controls technology ecosystem
• Cloud & Digital Risk: We assist clients to scale their cloud infrastructure and to understand and address the risks faced.
• Cyber Risk & Assurance: We help our clients identify their exposure to cyber risk by identifying gaps in the security across 5 pillars of cyber risk (people, process, governance, technology and third parties).
• S4: We help our clients navigate the complexity of SAP technology, allow organisations to automate processes and controls, redefine SAP security, as well as develop the Governance and Regulatory Controls (GRC) capability and data models during their transition to HANA.
• IT Internal Audit: We provide independent assurance that an organisation's risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively.

Rotation Scheme: The rotation programme gives you the opportunity to work in three different areas of Ventures for six-month placements, immersing yourself into different specialisms. You will be assigned a team leader for each rotation, who will make sure you are fully on-boarded and are exposed to a varied and appropriate amount of work. At the end of the scheme you will have a detailed career conversation to determine where your final rotation should be as well, as the potential areas for future progression.

Data & Artificial Intelligence: Our team aims to embed AI and data science in the fabric of the Tax and Legal business to drive technological change and advancements for our people and clients. You will work with many inspiring subject matter experts covering a breadth of capabilities from Data Scientists & Engineers to commercial experts focusing on delivering our solutions to the market.

Digital Tax Solutions (Engineering): Every software engineering project we work on is unique and has a different set of challenges within the tax domain. We solve individual client’s complex tax technology problems, as well as designing and delivering large multi-tenant solutions to support Deloitte’s global tax client base. As part of this team you will help us to build innovative solutions using different technology to ensure these products scale to our global demands. You’ll learn the fundamentals of software development, as well as technologies like cloud services, delivery practices and visualisations.

Digital Financial Advisory: We draw from our teams’ knowledge and experience to deliver innovation and to identify, develop and commercialise solutions that carry Deloitte value across our business and clients. Our work involves building software platforms to provide better insight and efficiency and applying it to the Financial Advisory domain.

Every project you’ll work on will be unique and have different challenges. It’ll be up to you and your team members to ensure that you build innovative products that are first to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems, using Cloud technology to ensure these products scale to our global demands.

• Junior Software Developer: You’ll learn the fundamentals of software development from writing code to testing and deployment. It’s not just software languages that you’ll learn, we’ll train you in technologies such as Amazon Web Services, graph databases and visualisation. We’ll also train you in the best delivery practices from start to finish.
• Junior Agile Delivery Manager: You will learn how products are delivered, end-to-end, using both traditional and Agile Project Management techniques. You’ll work collaboratively in a cross-functional Scrum team and learn more about planning, budgeting, resourcing and reporting.

Global Investment and Innovation Incentives – Gi3: The Gi3 team helps companies access funding opportunities relating to Research and Development, patents and capital investment in real estate. You’ll gain an insight into the role of innovation in business success and have the opportunity to support companies in their development activities. There will be exciting projects for companies across a broad range of industries, from aviation to technology for example, all of whom are pushing the boundaries of innovation in science and technology.

• Engineering: Our projects cover all areas of science or technology and span across the full range of innovation tax incentive types. From day one, you’ll be working directly with senior technical staff in our client companies to understand their projects and support them through the claims process.

• Software Engineering: We work with companies ranging from disruptive start-ups to multinational tech giants each committed to improving the world through technology innovation. You’ll play an integral role in discussions with our clients’ lead developers and solution architects to understand the inner workings of their state-of-the-art technology solutions.

Indirect Tax: In Indirect Tax, we help companies to pay the correct amount of VAT, customs, global trade and other indirect taxes, whenever, wherever and however they do business. We’re also here to put things right when they go wrong, whether it’s supporting the mitigation of penalties, reclaiming overpaid VAT and customs duties, improving their existing processes, or preventing a client’s goods being stopped at the border.

Often, clients seek our advice before they launch a new product, set up a new service, or expand to a new country, and to help them navigate everything from Brexit to corporate reorganisations, to the latest big court case. Ours is a collaborative, developmental environment where you’ll build relationships, analyse problems and gain a deep knowledge of all aspects of your client’s business. Tax Technology Consulting: In Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) we work with some of the largest businesses in the world, helping them to successfully navigate their most exciting and complex practical challenges in tax. We have a market-leading reputation in the UK and across Europe, and we are the largest integrated tax process and technology team of the Big Four. When you join you will work closely with clients to tackle the challenges of managing their tax affairs globally, including compliance, reporting and risk management. You will help them modernise their tax function by automating tax processes, transforming operational models, identifying tax incentives, or outsourcing their compliance cycles all with the use of technology. • Finance Transformation and ERP: Finance transformation is the process whereby businesses modernise and improve their finance functions. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) refers to software that organisations use to manage day-to-day business activities such as accounting, procurement, project management, compliance, and supply chain operations. We work with our specialist ERP team to implement these software solutions in relation to tax.
