Discover more about Technology

Our people are engaged in some of the most exciting and challenging projects our clients are tackling. Here are just a few examples.

Metro Bank Mobile App and Website: With plans to reach new customers across the UK, Metro bank turned to Deloitte to transform their customer website and create a stand-out mobile-banking app. The new state-of-the-art app was launched in under 12 months and has already won ‘Best Mobile Banking App’ in the 2017 Moneywise awards. The new website has also seen a 23% increase in users.

Waitrose - Innovation at the cutting edge of retail: In collaboration with Waitrose we created an in-store, iBeacon prototype. This technology can interact with shoppers in a personalised way, and understand consumer behaviour at a very granular level. Together, we developed working prototypes within three weeks, so the cutting edge technology could be demonstrated at Waitrose’s concept store.

Financial Services Verification tool: Working with our Financial Crime colleagues, we’ve built a product for financial institutions that can help them verify identity. If a company does not have sufficient information about a client, that client might be able to launder money or participate in other corrupt activities, with no red flags being raised. Potentially, this could lead to serious legal issues and even regulatory fines.

"It’s exciting to be involved in such an interesting piece of work."
Ryan

Everything we do is about helping clients do what they do better, faster, through game-changing technology and innovative working methods.

We’ve built state-of-the-art simulation, training experiences and engaging experiential activity for big audiences that have helped global brands stand out in crowded markets.

We use robotic and cognitive tools such as Robotic Process Automation, machine learning, and more. We’ve used game design to optimize business systems, improve efficiency and user motivation. From 3D game engines, to interactive screens and smart devices, we play with emerging technologies, so we’re sure we have the right platforms to innovate. We collaborate with third parties to tailor our services and provide the best possible solutions for our clients. We never stop looking forward.

“I couldn’t believe what a great opportunity this was. My whole family was so proud of me and I couldn’t wait to leave school and get stuck in.”
Nikita

Being part of Deloitte means being part of the world around us. We positively encourage you to volunteer and get involved in the local community. We even have a day a year for this – our Corporate Responsibility Day. It’s your chance to get out of the office, roll up your sleeves, and work with a team to deliver a tangible project for a charitable organisation.

Whether you spend a day at a primary school teaching kids, ride across Britain on a bike to support the British Paralympic Association, or hike Kilimanjaro to raise £1 million for our charity partners, you’ll have many opportunities to make an impact for wider society, as well as for your clients and your career.

“I’m really excited to know that what I’ve helped create will be out there in the real world.”
