Internal Services - Finance and Legal
Our support team is known as Internal Services and the scope of their activities covers every one of our UK offices. The department is split into seven distinct areas: Human Resources, Go To Market, Finance & Legal, Internal Services, National Quality and Risk Management (NQRM), IT Services and Property & Corporate Services. The department is home to some 2,000 professionals who live, breathe and deliver the Deloitte experience.
Our Finance and Legal department recruits into the following areas:
Head Office Accounting
The Head Office Accounting team provides a wide range of accounting support to the business and its leadership team – including production of monthly and annual management accounts, coordination and administration of the firm's forecasting and annual planning processes and accounting services to the cost directorates.
Service Line Support
The Service Line Support teams provide management information and accounting services to the service lines. The teams work closely with the partners and Service Line Leadership team to provide the financial information and analysis required to support the business’s decision-making process. Team members are expert users of our SAP practice management systems and provide advice and support to engagement managers and partners on billing and related processes. In addition, the teams are closely involved in the preparation of forecasts and financial plans and work with the partners to ensure client receivables are managed effectively and our cash and billings targets are met.
There are five Service Line Support teams: Audit (London) & ERS, Tax, Consulting, Corporate Finance, and Regions.
Statutory Reporting and Treasury
The Statutory Reporting and Treasury team is based in Milton Keynes and is responsible for the preparation of statutory and regulatory reporting required for Deloitte LLP, its subsidiaries, the offshore partnerships and the group pension schemes.
Our General Counsel provides legal advice to the Board, the Executive and the Managing Partners on a wide range of issues, including business acquisitions and disposals, commercial contracts, and partnership and employment matters.
