Customer Services

Adam Howard, HR Help Desk Assistant

The HR Helpdesk is the first point of contact for all UK and Swiss employees who have a query about anything related to HR. The team can be contacted via phone, e-mail or webchat and it’s our responsibility to ensure that all enquiries are assessed, managed and dealt with as effectively and promptly as possible. The HR Helpdesk is vital to Deloitte as we are in place to help employees thrive and to enjoy doing what they do.

I’m really proud that I took part in the Deloitte Mentoring Scheme, where I and other colleagues visited a secondary school on a number of occasions to help deliver some work and careers coaching. This was a brilliant scheme and you could clearly see the impact our contribution had on their young minds. Some of them had not considered life after school and we were able to help them make informed decisions that would affect their lives for years to come.

Sarah Birtwell, Content Developer, Training and Knowledge

My team develop content for areas of the firm who need training on a variety of subjects. This training usually consist of Webinars, eLearning, Learning guides and videos. We work together very closely with project teams to ensure we are giving them the best customer experience throughout.
My favourite part of the job is the team and the flexibility to be able to work from home. Agile working is really important to me and it makes you feel like you are more in charge of what you are doing. The firm is very supportive of how, when and where we work.

Lewis Lloyd, Senior Assistant, Partner Helpdesk

I joined Deloitte last year and it was by far my best career choice to date. I’m part of a specialist team dedicated to dealing with Partner-related queries. We provide advice and guidance to Partners, former Partners and their families on a wide range issues important to them such as salaries, cars, pensions, tax, healthcare or personal matters for example. We have to work closely with many teams across the firm because we get queries on a huge range of topics.

I really enjoy the team work that we have on the desk and the variety of work that we have to carry out. It keeps the role interesting and challenging.

Operations

Nabil Mirza, SAP HRIS Governance Analyst

My role is quite varied as I support a number of different Deloitte HRIS systems. I’m involved with reporting, administration, configuration and maintenance, security and authorisations and also training. HR Systems Governance is part of Hire to Retire in the Shared Services Organisation and plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR, IT, Recruitment teams within Deloitte.

It plays a vital role ensuring all the HRIS systems are up to date with policies and procedures ensuring a fair and consistent approach to HR. We also ensure the HR Recruitment community have the correct level of access in order to perform their responsibilities effectively.

I’m proud of recently Certifying in SuccessFactors Employee Central as an Associate. My manager was very accommodating as I took time off from work to study.
