Actuarial, Reward & Analytics
What we do
Actuarial, Reward and Analytics is all about looking at future events, and examining their probabilities and possible financial impacts. We are a market leading practice that consists of over 260 professionals who advise across all the major industries in the financial, private and public sectors. The group consists of two main areas – Insurance and Banking, and Total Reward & Benefits (Pensions). The Insurance and Banking team provides consulting services to a range of financial institutions, tackling complex and analytical problems. Deloitte Total Reward & Benefits work across all sectors, helping clients ranging from regional manufacturers to FTSE 100 multinational companies.
You’ll have the choice of joining the Insurance and Banking Team, the Capital Markets Group (as part of the Insurance and Banking Team), or the Total Reward & Benefits (Pensions) team. As an actuarial analyst at Deloitte, you will be working directly with clients on a variety of projects. These could involve designing and implementing new actuarial systems, conducting risk modelling, assessing future insurance liabilities for setting premiums, or advising clients on mergers and acquisitions.
Human Resources Transformation
What we do
Our HR Transformation team of consultants focusses on working with the HR leaders of large organisations. We help our clients with the innovative thinking, disruptive technology and data insights they need to optimise how they manage people and talent in their organisation. Our team is independently ranked as the Global Leader in both HR Transformation and Digital HR Advisory. Our global position is founded in the deep specialisms of our teams who work across a broad range of organisations, industries and sectors. We consult across many of the FTSE100 companies, and partner with some of the largest and most influential organisations in the world.
We are split into teams specialising in change (HR & Technology Advisory), data (People & Workforce Analytics) and technology (HR Applications). Our HR & Technology Advisory team helps clients develop their HR Strategy and adapt their services in an ever changing business environment. Our People & Workforce Analytics team provides clients with advanced analytics insights that enable them to make better, evidence-based decisions about their people. Our HR Applications team helps clients to design and build cloud-based HR systems that make work and employees more efficient.
You’ll be given the opportunity to work across all of these teams, experiencing different client projects and work across industries and sectors before starting to specialise based on your interests.
Organisation Transformation & Talent
What we do
We specialise in supporting our clients with their transformation programmes and projects. We are divided into communities of expertise focused on organisation design, talent, culture change, technology adoption, leadership development and programme management. We use our expertise to deliver some of the largest and most complex projects our client’s will ever face, using a variety of innovative tools and resources to enable sustainable change.
You’ll work with some of the largest and most interesting clients across the globe, from household names in the drinks and chocolate manufacturing industry, all the way through to fashion retailers, financial services firms and technology companies. Like all areas of Human Capital, you’ll gain experience across all industries and sectors so you can discover what interests you most. You’ll support clients on their transformation journey – be that supporting countries in organising large scale sporting events such as the Olympics, helping modernise and transform rail services or supporting change in the police and the social care sectors.
