Guidance from the pensions regulator on DB scheme funding and investment
The latest guidance released by the Pensions Regulator on 27 March, aimed at overing some of the trustee issues which arise from COVID-19. The guidance considers:
- schemes completing their valuation now
- employer requests for "easements", both in respect of deficit reduction contributions and future service too
- investments, and
- cash equivalent transfer value.
