The Chancellor of the Exchequer will present his Autumn Statement on  Thursday 17 November 2022 – the first major fiscal event of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s new administration. The Statement will set out the UK government’s ‘medium term fiscal plan’ for restoring stability and putting public finances on a sustainable footing and is expected to include a number of significant tax-raising announcements alongside difficult spending decisions. The government will also respond to the latest update from the independent Office for Budget Responsibility on the state of the UK economy. How might the announcements affect you? We’ll discuss:

  •  How the UK’s economy is changing.
  • Tax measures affecting businesses, both directly and as employers.
  • The taxation of individuals.
  • Indirect tax changes.

Join our panel of experts as they discuss the implications of the Autumn Statement’s tax announcements.
