The Yorkshire Climate Action Coalition is a business-led group, which is anchored in our shared passion for our region, with a common desire to address the climate challenge and deliver sustainable prosperity for our communities and businesses.

- Through greater collaboration inspire & help others connected to us to achieve their sustainability goals
- Help realise new business opportunities arising from the Net Zero Economy for our coalition members and for our region.

Climate Action Coalition Framework
Inclusive membership |
Open to all businesses, whether looking to take their first step or next step on their climate journey |
Collaboration platform |
A virtual platform through which businesses will be able to connect, share challenges, best practice and invite others to collaborate around green initiatives |
Networking and working groups |
Monthly networking sessions (1hr) to build new connections and create momentum around actions. Members will be encourage to form self-organised working groups to find joint solutions to shared challenges. |
Accountability |
Continued focus upon delivery of tangible outcomes through frequent update and sharing of an actions inventory, together with internal and external celebration of success stories. |
Curated information and insights |
Sharing of and access to information and insights, which will regularly be curated within the collaboration platform, together with a directory of member profiles, skills and other relevant resources to help members achieve their sustainability goals. |
Forums, events and workshops |
Exclusive events to educate, drive discussion & identify further collaboration opportunities. Structured quarterly, with a rotating volunteer Chair for each event. Check-in on progress of agreed actions plus guest speakers. Possible annual dinner. |
