It used to be said that success breeds success.
Well, sometimes.
But success can trap you in habits. Embed you in assumptions.
Before you know it, you’re doing things because that’s the way they’ve always been done.
That’s why we venture.
We bring together creative problem solvers, doers and makers from all walks of life, connecting our clients to emerging start-ups, leading technology players and a whole raft of new Deloitte talent.
Together, we see a better future.
And then create it.
We do
three things:
We invite the outside in. From identifying promising start-ups to teaming up with technology giants, we help you make connections that make a difference.
We help you tackle disruption head-on by standing up specialist teams. From AI to sustainability, their job is to help you stay ahead of the curve, transforming markets and creating new ones.
We listen to the market and through our incubators we build early stage concepts into scalable tech solutions that deliver, alongside our people, for businesses all around the world.
Our
people

Our teams include:

Dauda Kadiri
Software Developer
Prior to joining, I just thought of Deloitte as an accounting firm. I was wrong! Every day I get to work on innovative tech solutions that help protect, enhance and drive value in companies.
Entrepreneurial Software Developer, Dauda has found a like-minded community at Deloitte Ventures. His enthusiasm for enterprise has always been present. Whilst growing up in Nigeria, he and his cousins would buy large quantities of sugar cane to sell on at the market for profit.
Today, he channels his passion for venturing through his role as a full stack software developer, turning business ideas into technology solutions. Dauda builds new and exciting technology assets for our Financial Advisory business.
When he’s not building software, he is often reading about it. His top recommendations include: ‘Lean Startup’ by Eric Ries, ‘Clean Architecture’ and ‘Clean Code’ by Robin Cecil Martin.

Bernadette Maingat
Venture Lead
Working in Ventures, I’ve learned key skills in assessing ideas and my role has only continued to fuel my curiosity in exploring new trends and businesses.
Our curious Canadian, Bernadette is fascinated by early stage, innovative ideas, making her a perfect match for Deloitte Ventures.
By day, Bernadette leads on ideas in the Financial Advisory incubator – helping to create, grow and launch innovative concepts. She designs and delivers programs that drive early stage business ventures, harnessing entrepreneurial talent across the firm.
By night, Bernadette is a chicken wing connoisseur. She is part of @wing_sistas trio, providing chicken wing reviews at London’s top joints.

Ralph Forgeon
Product Manager
With a background working in tech start-ups, surprisingly it doesn’t feel like I’m working for a corporate at Deloitte! Ventures has given me the flexibility to work on new ideas, immerse myself in different technology and be part of diverse teams.
Touching down from AirBnB’s HQ in Silicon Valley, Ralph originally joined us as a software developer. He was quickly immersed in London’s start-up community and took part in ‘Entrepreneur First’ – an external idea accelerator programme that brings together talent from academia and industry to build next generation start-ups.
His enthusiasm for enterprise, paired with his software skills has led him to a new role as one of our Product Managers. Ralph aims to drive the growth and adoption of our product portfolio. Working cross-functionally with both our risk experts and technology teams, he helps accelerate the development and go-to-market of new technology products, across our Risk Advisory business.
Away from the office, Ralph is busy discovering local start-ups and creating new apps.

Nayia Filippou
Data Scientist
I’m passionate about finding innovative ways to help clients achieve their goals. Every day, I try to uncover new solutions through data.
This data scientist has a penchant for notebooks – it started with music notebooks, when learning to play the piano aged 5 and today, takes the form of Python notebooks.
Nayia specialises in utilising data to help businesses make smarter, better decisions. She focuses on solving some of the biggest data-driven problems faced by our Tax clients, using machine learning to design rich data visualisations and deliver valuable insight.
Nayia’s experience spans both business and academia - with a PhD and MSc in Statistics and teaching experience at University College London.

Sabari Majumdar
Product Design Manager
With a background in studying Creative Entrepreneurship, I’ve found a home in Deloitte Ventures where my team can help nurture and bring new business ideas to life through experience design.
Devoted to design, Sabari is one of our Product Design Managers, specialising in delivering best in class experience design. She has a wealth of fascinating experiences - from working on the David Bowie exhibition to designing immersive installations based on Indian miniature paintings.
A leader in Human Centred Design, Sabari heads up a multi-disciplinary team, with a range of expertise including UX, UI, and user research. Together, they help build user-centred technology products to solve real business problems. With a BA in Visual Communication and an MA in Creative Entrepreneurship, Sabari relishes getting under the skin of our clients’ problems and developing intuitive, design-led solutions.
