Deloitte opens applications to 1,750 entry level positions

Including more than 1,000 roles for graduates

4 July 2014

Deloitte is now inviting applications for 1,750 entry level positions at the firm, including more than 1,000 roles for graduates.

The firm offers a variety of entry level positions that include jobs for school leavers after A-levels, positions for students during their university course and graduates. Deloitte welcomes applications from students at any school or university, with any degree discipline, and looks for individuals who have gained both work and life experience alongside their academic achievements.

Fiona Walker, talent partner for student recruitment at Deloitte, said:  “This year, we will maintain a consistent intake of entry-level recruits. For Deloitte the priority is less about quantity and more about the quality of the talent. We are actively seeking a wider breadth of backgrounds and experience from the entry level applicants that we take on. We are passionate about developing the leaders of the future and believe we can offer unparalleled training and quality careers to our entry-level recruits.”

“We encourage anyone interested our schemes, with ambition and drive, a desire to learn and overall career-mindedness to research the roles available and apply.”

The range of positions offered means a student can start their professional career at Deloitte after their A-levels, through the BrightStart scheme. This programme allows students to study towards a professional qualification, while building a career.

Other positions available include:

  • Summer Vacation Scheme - a three to six week paid work experience placement with the firm;
  • Industrial placements - for students on a four-year university course who require a six or 12 month placement as part of their degree;
  • Scholar Scheme - offers students the opportunity to take a gap year before university, where they will work at the firm for a percentage of the year and are then given a bursary so they can travel for the remainder of the year. The student is then provided with a further bursary towards their university fees and can complete paid work experience with the firm throughout their course;
  • Graduate programme – More than 1000 positions for high achieving graduates.
