Home Office expands Super Priority Visa service

Jurga McCluskey, head of Deloitte's UK immigration practice, comments on the Home Office’s expansion of the Super Priority Visa service:

“This is positive news for business visitors to the UK. Business opportunities can arise at short notice and the quicker visa service will enable entrepreneurs and business people to move quickly and take advantage of these.

“In a competitive global economy, this will enhance the UK’s position as a global hub for business. The Super Priority Visa service is aimed largely at key business customers and those needing to travel urgently by providing, at a cost, a visa decision within 24 hours of application, making the UK the only European nation to offer this. 

“Due to the service’s high costs, at £600 per application, it will not be an appropriate service for everyone.”
