Deloitte Real Estate appoints technology lead

Deloitte Real Estate has appointed Andrew Carey as a partner to lead its real estate technology practice. 

Andrew has 25 years’ global experience in business and technology consulting, real estate process, organisation design and systems. He joins from RealFoundations, where he was a managing director, and has previously worked for IBM and PwC.

Nigel Shilton, managing partner of Deloitte Real Estate, said: “Real estate technology is a considerable growth area for us and Andrew will drive this by leading transformational programmes involving real estate technology, organisational change and business process improvement from initial concept through to successful implementation. He will be assisting our clients with the alignment of business strategy to operational execution, and delivering complex real estate technology solutions internationally.”

Andrew added: “I’m excited to work with Deloitte’s public and private sector clients on their strategic planning and adding value through my perspective on technology trends. These clients need to keep ahead of the competition through continued assessment of their operation and system practices, and I look forward to delivering on their operational needs.”

Deloitte Real Estate’s Russell McMillan has also recently been promoted to partner. He advises private sector clients on a wide range of corporate real estate issues, with a specific focus on financial services clients, the transformation of CRE finance processes and implementing CRE technology strategies.
