Chris Graves to lead Deloitte’s TMT M&A team

Deloitte has appointed Chris Graves as a partner in its Advisory Corporate Finance practice. Graves will lead the firm’s technology, media and telecoms (TMT) mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team.

Graves joins Deloitte today from GP Bullhound, the technology advisory and investment firm, where he was an executive director.

Commenting on Graves’ appointment, Fenton Burgin, partner and head of Advisory Corporate Finance at Deloitte, said: “Chris brings strong industry expertise across the full range of the TMT sector, including landmark transactions and thought leadership in digital services, mobile technology, content and IP, digital healthcare and B2B information and events.

“This appointment underpins our investment into the growth and expansion of our TMT M&A proposition, securing Deloitte’s Advisory Corporate Finance practice as leaders in the midmarket arena.”

Prior to Graves’ four years at GP Bullhound, he was a director at Ingenious Media where he led transactions for a number of blue-chip TMT clients, following positions in public company advisory at Dresdner Kleinwort and Deutsche Bank.
