Deloitte appoints creative director of in-house agency 368

16 September 2019

Deloitte has appointed David Harris as the first creative director of the firm’s in-house agency 368.

David will lead Deloitte’s newly formed creative department, overseeing the firm’s creative studio, experiential and UX & Dev teams.

David brings over 30 years of agency experience to Deloitte, with more than 20 years’ experience as an executive creative director, and joins the firm from Gyro London. Prior to this, David held the position of executive creative director at Wunderman, DraftFCB and IMP London. In 1999 he co-founded LIDA, a creative agency specialising in customer communications, where he held the position of creative partner for eight years.

Nick Burbidge, leader of Deloitte’s in-house agency 368, said: “368 launched in 2018 drawing together our events, marketing delivery, CRM, studio and digital teams into an in-house agency model, consolidating their skills in order to develop more impactful and award-winning campaigns for Deloitte. David is now leading our creative department, bringing with him knowledge and experience which will be fundamental in sparking fresh ideas and creating campaigns to resonate with our clients.”

David Harris, creative director of 368, added: “I went into advertising to create work that people would talk about, that would fondly stay in their minds, and with soundtracks they’d whistle along to. I’m looking forward to developing campaigns which cut through the noise, create an impact and reflect the firm’s variety, innovation and integrity.”

Andy Sandoz, chief creative officer at Deloitte Digital, concluded: “The impact of creativity across business is growing for our clients and ourselves. I’m excited to see what more we can achieve with David’s creative energy and experience when it is focused on turning our in-house into a power-house.”
