Deloitte appoints programme leadership partner

27 November 2017

Deloitte today announces the appointment of Dominic Cook as a partner in the firm’s programme leadership consulting team.

Deloitte’s programme leadership team provides a full range of services to clients who are undertaking business transformation or large scale infrastructure programmes. This includes setting up, designing and delivering major, challenging and complex projects or capital investments, such as such as national technology, construction and transport developments, or big sporting events, like the Olympics. Dominic will be based in London and work across a range of industries.

Dominic was previously a partner at Bird & Bird, the international law firm, where he managed various major transformational projects in healthcare, IT and mobile communications. He has 26 years of experience as a commercial lawyer, and held a number of leadership positions at Bird & Bird. Dominic is an associate fellow of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where he teaches on the MSc. in Major Programme Management.

Tim Parr, who leads Deloitte’s transformation business in consulting and is global head of capital projects, explains: “Dominic has an excellent reputation in the market for delivering complex transformation programmes. He has strong commercial and practical expertise working on large contracts with complicated supply chains, which will complement Deloitte’s programme leadership business. We are really pleased to have such a senior leader join the team, and know clients will appreciate the enhanced experience he brings to the table.”

Dominic adds: “Deloitte was a very attractive next step, particularly because of the firm’s reputation in the marketplace and its multi-disciplinary nature. The ability to draw on expertise from other parts of the firm – whether that be data specialists in technology consulting, regulatory experts in risk advisory, or real estate and restructuring professionals in financial advisory, globally – is hugely exciting.”
