Deloitte comments on the IHS Markit/CIPS UK Manufacturing PMI

Commenting on the IHS Markit/CIPS UK Manufacturing PMI, which remained unchanged at 48.0 in July, Duncan Johnston, UK manufacturing industry leader at Deloitte, said:
“Despite a fall in new orders, the manufacturing industry remains positive about the future, with 46% of manufacturers predicting output to improve in one year’s time. Over the next year, the industry is positive about its outlook as new product launches and strong order pipelines surface.”
