Head of Immigration at Deloitte UK responds to the EU Referendum result
24 June 2016
Jurga McCluskey, head of immigration at Deloitte UK, said: “The UK’s decision to leave the EU will inevitably cause a period of great uncertainty around immigration policy for businesses and individuals. However, negotiations to exit are likely to take at least two years so it is important to remember that nothing will change immediately.
"In the longer term, we would expect those EU nationals already working in the UK to continue to be able to do so, but those seeking to enter the UK in future may find themselves having to qualify under new immigration rules.”
