Cosima leads our Clinify team and advises clients on how to adopt AI into their healthcare operations safely, ethically and transparently. She is also the lead Partner for both the UK Health Security Agency and the Department of Health and Social Care.

Cosima’s approach to client projects is to ‘leave your Deloitte badge at the door’ and work hand-in-hand with the client. She believes that leading with purpose, doing the right thing and having a relentless focus on high quality are all what makes for a great project – and a great outcome for the client.

And it seems this approach has paid off. She’s won a Management Consultancies Association Award in 2020 in the Social Value category and was highly commended in 2018 in the Change Management in the Public Sector category.

She’s proud that Clinify have won two NHS X AI Awards which she believes are testament to the innovative ideas that the team have delivered.

She’s also proud of her two young girls which she’s raising with her husband in London. And together they are tackling another project – the renovation of a rather old and leaky house.

As CTO of Clinify, Paul spearheads the technical direction of product development, research, and innovation, maintaining a sharp focus on understanding and addressing the core challenges within the NHS. He is driven to develop technology that can be readily integrated into existing workflows to alleviate frictions, boost efficiencies, and ultimately, free up clinicians from administrative tasks so they can dedicate their attention to patients and their care.

With a rich background working with start-ups and scale-ups and holding multiple CTO roles, including in the health and technology space, Paul brings a wealth of expertise to the team. His passion lies in uniting various areas of expertise to drive significant change and he is staunchly committed to purpose-led companies, making Clinify the perfect match.

When he’s not navigating the complex world of healthcare technology, Paul spends quality time with his family. As well as having a keen interest in the latest developments in AI, Paul is a scuba diver and enthusiastic traveller, when he can find the time! For Paul, the ultimate measure of success is the positive impact he can have, rather than merely creating more products and technology.

Guy is what we like to call “our compass”.

He gives direction in the form of clinical insights to the various teams that make up Clinify – including our software engineers, data scientists and product managers.

He is, in other words, our Clinical Lead for all Clinify products.

This is a vitally important role in our business as Guy ensures that the various teams have the context and insight to make our products relevant, safe and useful to the medical industry.

To get where he is today, Guy has completed his medical degree and specialist training in Intensive Care Medicine (MBBS, MRCP, FFICM), a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), and specialist training in clinical research, A.I., and clinical risk management, to name just a few of his qualifications. He’s worked for the NHS for over a decade and continues to work clinically alongside his work for Clinify.

And surprisingly, Guy still has time for a social life. He’s an avid traveller, loves mastering languages and is passionate about wine. Guy also enjoys baking bread, but he likes to keep it simple. So you won’t find him slaving over a sourdough, trying to keep a petri dish of starter alive in his fridge, rather he’ll be rolling out the old-favourite sandwich loaf.

Ana, our dedicated Quality and Regulatory Lead, has landed in her role following a range of experience in Software and Information Technology. She started out as a Software Quality Analyst working at Xerox before moving to KPMG Consulting – working in information security and technology projects and audits. However, becoming a mother changed her outlook on life and she trained to become a breastfeeding counsellor. Whilst working in hospitals she realised that her deep technology background had a role to play with supporting patients and clinicians alike. Never wavering from her drive to be part of change, Ana went on to complete her PhD in Medical Information Systems. From there she moved her career towards a quality and regulatory role with a focus on Software as a Medical Device.

Since then, she’s worked for a number of medical technology companies including CMR Surgical, Team Consultancy and BrightInsight in Quality and Regulatory roles. Ana joined Deloitte to establish the Quality and Regulatory processes to allow us to place our products in market and make sure the “bright ideas” of our engineers become market cleared medical devices.

Ana has walked the Inca Trail – twice – and played football semi-professionally. Currently, she enjoys raising her two teenage boys, going to Wimbledon and learning to pilot an airplane.

Michelle is one our valued data scientists building the smarts that powered our software as a medical device product.

Having completed a Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial, she’s well-equipped to handle the role. Which, she says, involved constant challenges. Working within the restrictions of creating software as a medical device involved a strong focus on clinical safety and a robust requirement for accuracy.

Michelle relished the fast-paced nature of the work and the opportunity to continuously improve the product.

Prior to joining the team, Michelle focused on Natural Language Processing (NLP) in the social media space. By building NLP models, she was able to analyse social media engagements to provide brands with insights on how to improve their marketing. Even going so far as building them in 7 languages.
