June 2016

The Newcastle office of business advisory firm Deloitte is further strengthening its commitment to the North East region having sealed a new partnership agreement with the Theatre Royal.

The Quayside based firm, which employs 200 people at its Newcastle office, has become a Theatre Royal Business Member and in doing so will ensure that it plays a key role in developing positive commercial links between the regional business community and the arts.

Stephen Hall, office senior partner at Deloitte in Newcastle, said: “The Theatre Royal has been an integral part of the city of Newcastle for over 175 years and we believe that an association with such a fantastic North East institution will be hugely positive for our firm in a number of ways.”

Michelle Hardie, corporate development manager at the Theatre Royal added: “We work with many companies on various different levels and we are delighted to welcome Deloitte on board as a Business Member.

“We pride ourselves on our commitment to understanding and meeting the commercial objectives of our corporate partners. The Theatre Royal is well regarded as an ambassador for Newcastle and the region as a whole and we are keen to continue to forge mutually beneficial and on-going relationships with key businesses throughout the North East.”
