Partner and director promotions in the South West
Promoting talent from within
A new partner and seven directors for Deloitte’s South West practice.
Deloitte in the South West continues with its commitment to promote talent from within and has announced eight key promotions from 1 June 2021.
Based in Bristol, Hamish McFadyen has been promoted to consulting partner within Deloitte Digital where he specialises in the strategy, design, implementation and operation of digital customer experiences. He leads some of the firm’s largest retail digital transformation engagements as-well as leading several of its strategic digital technology alliances.
Hamish hails from Exeter and joined the firm five years ago from Clarks where he was Global Vice-President of Digital IT. In his spare time Hamish mentors students at Exeter University.
Across the UK, Deloitte promoted 79 people to partner, 19 of which are from the firm’s regional practices.
In addition to Hamish’s partner promotion, seven colleagues were promoted to director in the South West.
The number of promotions has increased slightly from 2020 where Deloitte’s South West practice promoted Tom Noble to audit partner and six colleagues to director.
Martyn Gregory, senior partner for Deloitte in South West, says: “The past year has been challenging for everyone and as a business it has been crucial that we have retained both talent and skills within our region to ensure continuity for both clients and our teams.
“Investing in our people is critical and we are thrilled for Hamish and all of our directors on their promotions. Seeing so many build a successful career in the region is fantastic and it’s important we continue to invest and showcase that regional expertise.”
The newly promoted directors in the South West are: Natalie Wells, Oliver Seal, Jane Darlington, Eddie Bell, Bash Noor, Philippa Hutton and Radhika Mahajan.
