Connecting to make a difference in Wales

Deloitte is proud of its partnership with Llamau and is committed to supporting the charity and positively impacting the lives of vulnerable women and young people that Llamau supports.

At the heart of Llamau, a Welsh charity, is its mission to eradicate homelessness for young people and vulnerable women in Wales. They believe that no young person or vulnerable woman should ever have to experience homelessness.

Llamau was founded over 30 years go to provide homeless teenagers with a safe place to stay. Since then, they have supported over 82,000 people who are either facing homelessness or who are already homeless.

The charity works across Wales to prevent homelessness, provide safe accommodation and they support people to leave homelessness behind for good.

We have been working with Llamau since 2019 on a range of fundraising activities and pro bono projects. Our most successful fundraisers so far have been the Sleep Out event at Cardiff Castle in December 2019 and the virtual version of the same event, the Stay Up Challenge, in October 2020.
