Cyber Academy hosts inaugural Tech Week initiative

The Cyber Academy's learning hub hosted its inaugural Tech Week programme this month. An initiative which seeks to leverage Deloitte’s wealth of experience and upskill our people across priority areas in cyber. The four-day programme consisted of intense technical and commercial courses delivered by experienced cyber and consulting personnel from across the business as well as external experts from strategic partners like Dell, AWS and IBM.

The programme focuses on encouraging cross-speciality training and ensuring that our people have the deep technical knowledge and commercial acumen to be the most effective cyber security professionals in the industry.

Lead Partner Peter Gooch had this to say about the programme:

With the cyber threat landscape constantly changing, we recognise the importance of being ahead of the curve and the need to never stop learning. The Cyber Learning Hub, through the Cyber Academy, provides our people and our clients with world class learning experiences and insights. Tech Week has been a fantastic way to encourage our people to develop new skills and build on the ones they already have and ensure they continue to expand their technical and commercial knowledge.

The programme featured intensive courses on subjects such as solution architecture, enterprise recovery and vaulting and took place at Deloitte’s headquarters in London. For more information about the Cyber Academy, click here: www.deloitte.co.uk/cyberacademy
