Managing risk in an uncertain world

Our clients are facing a period of greater uncertainty and growing threats from cyber-attacks, geopolitical events and other strategic risks. It is also clear that crises and reputational issues strike more quickly than ever before. This is amplified by social media and the 'public information space'. At a time when corporate reputations are under greater scrutiny than ever, managing strategic risks and being ready and able to deal with crises and issues effectively when they happen is a high priority for many Boards and senior executives.

In order to support our clients with these challenges, the Deloitte Risk Advisory practice has strengthened its capabilities in Strategic Risk and Crisis Management by acquiring an internationally recognised crisis, issues and reputation management business called Regester Larkin. They will merge with Deloitte’s existing crisis and resilience team, to form a 70-strong group, led by six partners, operating as Regester Larkin by Deloitte.

This exciting acquisition also further strengthens our cross-Firm crisis management capabilities, which also includes our forensics investigations, cyber response, claims management, regulatory and financial restructuring expertise. The new team will lead the way in providing a fully integrated, one-stop solution to our clients in this critical area.
