Ahmed is a professional economist and Assistant Director within the Economic Advisory team. He focuses on the media and technology sectors, including digital platforms, data infrastructure and cross-overs with telecoms, and payments. He advises both private and public sector clients across these sectors and others in the UK and globally. This has included projects focusing on policy and market assessments and on insights-driven strategy development, with much of his work involving complex economic and econometric modelling and analysis to develop policy and strategy recommendations. Most recently, Ahmed has developed expertise in supporting global technology firms on responding to and complying with new Internet regulations.
