Adam Powell

Adam is an international tax partner who specialises in advising multinational groups, with an industry focus on the hotel and leisure sector.

Adam spent 2 and a half years on the UK desk in New York as part of the Deloitte US firm’s International Core of Excellence and, following his return to the UK in 2012, has continued to work closely with many US multinationals and other foreign-owned groups. He leads the team considering the impact of the UK's new hybrid rules on foreign owned groups.

From an industry perspective, Adam has substantial experience of working with public and private hotel investors (including private equity and sovereign wealth), owner/operators, and developers to provide deal support on acquisitions (including diligence and acquisition structuring), advice with respect to corporate restructuring/simplification, refinancing and disposal advice.
