Arun Sharma

Arun is a Partner in the Financial Institutions Group and in Deloitte’s global Portfolio Lead Advisory Services practice, providing financial advisory services to banking clients. Prior to joining Deloitte in 2021, Arun was a Managing Director at Alantra and head of their UK credit business, where he specialised in providing advice to banks, governments, private equity funds and alternative lenders on loan portfolio, credit M&A and capital optimisation transactions.

Since 2012, Arun has originated and executed complex credit deals across Europe. Specifically, this has included advising clients on non-core and non-performing whole loan sales, securitisations, credit servicing and financings as well as M&A for the maturing UK and European speciality finance community.
