Claire Goodier is a Director in the IP Advisory practice. She has extensive experience working in IP in industry and is a qualified Patent Attorney. Prior to joining Deloitte, Claire led the IP function of Walgreens Boots Alliance, International. Prior to joining WBA, Claire was a senior attorney at P&G.
Experience
- Built the patent function at Boots
- Introduced corporate IP strategy including; end-to-end IP lifecycle processes; quality control and stage-gating procedure; invention harvesting; portfolio management and budgetary control; risk analysis and mitigation
- Led a renovation programme across the IP function introducing software tools, automation and improving efficiency
- At P&G, served as a key advocate and primary user of IP strategies, developing a well-received, highly visual model for engaging and discussing IP strategy, assets, competitive intelligence and risk with executive level stakeholders.
